For instance, I converted a decade old AMD PC with an ULV processor into an #OPNSense box (which runs #FreeBSD). While it's not powerful, it's very low powered, it takes like roughly 30W to power the entire box.

Honestly, I've been able to keep old PCs running because it runs Linux or FreeBSD as servers and what not.
