I run a cash hungry small business. We keep a small treasury of Bitcoin. It’s not Bitcoin volatility that scares me. I never put money into Bitcoin that I expect to need in the next 5 years. The goal is to never sell it. What scares me is economic volatility from stupid fed games. I have to buy inventory 3 months before it is sellable and sometimes it takes longer than that. Margins are only in the 5-15% range depending on the product. A big economic swing could put me very upside down on inventory. As a result, I have to keep more money in cash than I am comfortable with and accept the debasement. Fiat games keep me up at night.
