It is quite different. One of the reasons why he has to spend time talking about how his message isn't from men, nor by men. Is because he faced stiff opposition from the church built around the Apostles that walked with Jesus.
It is the same message given to Peter, but we hear little of it from Peter, and mainly see him and Paul being bullied.
After firmly rejecting the message from Paul, you see them scattered and killed. Part of me thinks Paul should have tried a different strategy, but I think they were simply unworthy at some point, and so Jesus cleared the board, and started a new path forward.
When this message was partially revived in Luther's day, he wrote about how fiercely satan fought against the truth. He brings out a lot of parallels between things they were dealing with, and what Paul had to deal with.
And, here we are at the end, where the message has been fully revealed. Of the public figures I'd say Joseph Price is the closest. But, I find he is only able to deliver on his revelation, about 1 or 2 out of every 20 or 40 sermons.
