So I do this thing for my friends' birthdays, where I tell them I'll cook them whatever the fuck they want for dinner. Throw me a curveball make it complex, and if it requires more than a day of prep, then they should let me know in advance.

So it's always funny to me when mentally im prepared for multiple days of cooking and then someone's like, oh, just make me beef Stroganoff, or something simple.
