I've seen three *very* stupid so-called reasons for defederation in my time here:<li>Single-user instance.</li><li>Server software (Pleroma and Misskey + its forks are most hated by some people).</li><li>Federation with someone they don't like.</li>
Let them be that way, there's no percentage in even trying to talk about this kind of thing.
