The Arctic is already warming about 3 times as fast as anywhere else. At 5 degrees Celsius average change in paleoclimate it has meant mass extinctions. If the glaciers have melted that means sea level rise is probably about 120metres higher than now. In the interglacial periods from no ice to the highest glacier level for the Arctic and the Antarctic the difference is about 180-200m. We are at a height of sea level about 60m now above the interglacial minimum.
