I had to stop on my bike ride home this evening to fix a flat tyre. At least it wasn't on my way into work, and it was a clear starry evening.

I extracted a small shard of glass from the rubber. I had a look back through my records and this is the 15th flat I've had in the past 8 years, most from glass.

This is usually a sign that it's time to replace a tyre and my back tyre is looking a bit worn. It sure would be nice though if there was less glass on the road.
