Ha, this is interesting and no doubt coincidental, as I have been pondering on this very concept for a long while...
I question the purpose (and outcome) of discovery (by others) by asking myself, "who is it that wants to be discovered, and why?"
I write notes about things that I think I understand in order to test my understanding of my own thinking. Ergo, how does both my understanding and my integrity withstand scrutiny when my thoughts are manifested into reality as words on a page?
If I am not capable of producing coherent sentences that will withstand public scrutiny then I probably do not understand what I am thinking and I must either discard that line of thinking, or admit that I do not know...
Therefore, I am slowly discovering that when I engage in genuine conversations, like this, that the discovery process takes care of itself.
Is it not our own discoveries that hold the highest value, because these lead to self mastery, which does not require external validation? (I see the irony in posing that statement as a question 😉)
