From "@ItIsHoeMath" on X:

'Modern people think they're too smart for religion. They're not.

What we call "religion" is actually the immutable moral structure of the universe, but encoded into stories that even dim-witted people can understand and follow.

Mid-witted people are smart enough to know that the stories aren't true. They catch on to the fact that they're being manipulated.

Because they don't believe in anything they can't see (or anything that a TRUSTED SOURCE has claimed to see), they try to throw off the shackles of 'sky daddy' religion and be free.

What they don't understand is that the religion that was constraining them was designed by the smartest people, not the dumbest ones, and we need to follow rules that most people can't ever understand.

And if there's one thing a midwit hates, it's admitting "I don't understand." Midwits always either know the thing, or can point to a TRUSTED SOURCE who knows the thing. Or so they think.

The midwits also refuse to be obedient to the laws of morality because they can't tell who's using religion to help them and who's using it selfishly, for personal gain, like those megachurch con-men. They prefer to make their own morals, which always end up being just "I do what I want."

The smart people knew what happens when you let the midwits run wild and change all the laws to fit what they call "science" (which is actually materialism, which progressively becomes nothing but a conduit for their hedonistic desires). You get disaster.

So when the smart people wrote the religion stories, they targeted them to the dim-witted people, who are more numerous and easier to control through fairy tale beliefs, knowing that the midwits would never accept the stories as true. They would be forced to obey by being outnumbered.

So the smart (and good) people use the dumb (and good) people to control the medium-smart (and always eventually evil without oversight) people.

Occasionally, the tides turn and a group of smart and evil people help the midwits take control of culture and law, and disaster becomes inevitable.

The job that I've appointed myself to do is to convince the midwits to cut that shit out, or at least to find a way to pressure them into behaving again.'
