I've just finished reading After the Forest by Kell Woods. It's an adult fantasy fairy tale retelling of what happened to Hansel and Gretel in the years following after they left the witch's house.

It's dark and wonderous, and enchanting, and there's witches and bears and foxes and wolves, and gingerbread, and it's set in the Black Forest.

It's one of my favorite reads of the year. And the book cover is stunning. #books #bookstodon #reading #fantasy #fairytale
