Epsi (npub1ya0…aku4) since that winter, i think a lot has been worked on early detection and on prevention. like its fairly regular, that on steep mountains or in ski resorts, controlled avalanches are released with explosives to prevent such disasters. also forestation is a big part of avalanche mitigations.
where i am rn, i feel relativaly safe. would need a huge avalanche to even reach me tbh
