i know media prognosticators and various different talking heads try to convince us all otherwise, but it’s proven to be the case, time and time again:
most people default to being good people.
it’s not even necessary to look at how we all respond to disasters or tragedies.
it’s enough to just look around in our day to day lives.
i see it everywhere; the store, the movies, the airport.
the goodness in people ALWAYS outshines the evil.
i think, somewhere in our subconscious, we all realize how small we really are. how we’re all just specks on a pebble flying thousands and thousands of mph (kph for the euro #nostriches 😜) through and infinitely expanding universe.
and we all share this pebble together.
quite a comforting thought, really.
i guess my point is that the next time you see someone acting like a twat, whether it’s in your daily life or on TV or in the most recent ragebait article your lizard brain made you click on, just realize those people make up such a small, insignificant percentage of our small, insignificant species.
they’re the exception, not the rule.
anyway. GN #nostr.
