If there is one infuriating feature I loathe about the sports industry, it is that most franchise owners expect taxpayers to finance a significant amount of the cost for new or updated stadiums. Currently, the Kansas City Chiefs (coming off of a Super Bowl win) & the Kansas City Royals each want taxpayers to shoulder the burden of renovating their current stadium or building a new one, respectively.
