Sadly I have been in this situation with men multiple times. Yes, they enjoy tearing me down. Yes, they all “forgot” my birthday as birthdays aren’t important to them so they shouldn’t be important to me. Yes, they all told me that nobody else would put up with my shit. I’m so much happier being single (and they wonder why they are alone).
