In particular, what happened was that kicking bad users off of BGA not only made BGA a nicer place, it made BSW a jerk-ier place and a lot of people noted that BSW became culturally meaner and meaner as the non-jerks abandoned BSW for BGA. In cases where games were available on both sites, BSW slowly became a ghost town because, given the choice, not all that many people want to play games with trash talkers who rage when they lose and/or they decide you've played improperly.
