90's is early teens for me so tail end of commodore 64 and the start of the PC at school. Not much use for terminals (machines) but we did have most things being text based coming from a terminal window.

Nowadays, when pulling up a terminal window in my Linux PC to do stuff, brings glassy vacant expressions and some awes from whoever sees me doing it. Feels weird though.
