A lot of people unfairly got suspended, even people who didn't like any lewds, probably because some accounts also posted lewds. They really just dropped a whole nuclear bomb on a whole swath of the network because they couldn't keep up with the overload of lolis, there were lolis up for weeks. They were supposed to send emails but they didn't, and then they lied that they did. So there was a lot of criticism.
Most of us got our accounts back though, after pestering the moderation email. They warn us not to like loli porn again and that we have one more chance. Of course that got plenty of criticism as well.
So maybe Bluesky learned something and won't do such unreasonable things anymore. Who knows. We definitely learned. Always have a backup plan and expect to be suspended or something at any moment, even if you do nothing wrong. It turns out backing up and restoring data is really easy on atproto so you can just keep coming back without loosing any posts.
Of course you can always just follow the (new) rules and not like any lewd lolis. There's more to life than just the fucking lolis. You can get better lolis elsewhere, but you can't get the Bluesky experience anywhere else. There's no point leaving if there's no better place to leave to.
