I don't think I've heard a Rod Stewart song I haven't found to be totally devoid of any artistic merit.

Even stuff that I thought was junk when I was younger, I can usually find an angle into it that at least has some curiosity-value.

But Rod's one of those bland acts that just don't do anything for me. Even with this bubbly tune behind him, and him doing a good job of inflecting the lyrics and putting energy into it - so forgettable.
