My spat with Stubhub started when I showed up to a concert with my lady friend where I found out someone had already entered with the tickets I allegedly bought.
A week and a half later, after 5 emails saying "we'll contact you in 72 hours to resolve the issue" Stubhub is still giving me bullshit on bullshit over the phone with "I'm gonna put you on hold for just a moment, the refund is pending, no, I can't send you documentation of the return transaction that I'm looking at.. because reasons."
So I did what I'm pretty sure I should have initially, and disputed the transaction with Capital One. Assuming they handle it, Capital One is my shit now.
The fact is, this wouldn't be possible with bitcoin and that is a damn shame, albeit a crucial facet. If I'd bought with the corn, my corn would be popping in someone else's pocket forever.
Not trying to shill the dollar, (fuck fiat and the Federal Reserve. Hard.) but Bitcoin in all its immutable glory, cannot fix everything. We have a long way to go and I'll be stacking for as long as it takes to get there, but nothing eliminates parasites short of erasing them.
