This morning I started a new lead-getting strategy for my local business selling cabinets. Here’s the plan:
1. Join dozens of local neighborhood community groups on Facebook (I hate Facebook, but my customers don’t)

2. Most have a particular day of the week where you’re allowed to shill your business. Set weekly reminders for to post for each of those.

3. Every morning, take time to like every new post in every one of these groups, comment on it, and friend request the poster. Also like each comment under the post and friend request the commenters. This shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes per morning.
4. 1-2x per week, post in each group something relevant to the group. Friend request everyone who likes each post. Like and friend request each comment under each post.
5. Once per month, DM all friends on Facebook. Acknowledge something relevant to them and ask a relevant question. One of the goals of all of this is to feed the algorithm to get more eyeballs on my daily posts to my personal feed and business page. I just want as many locals as possible to be aware of my business.
6. The first time a FB friend engages with me via DMs, transition the conversation to asking them if they know any contractors who may be able to benefit from FREE kitchen/bathroom remodel design services to add more value to their customers, with NO obligation to buy any materials from me. (The goal is to build good will and make their life so much easier that it becomes a no-brainer to eventually start getting cabinets from me)…
