Experimenting with "NPR" (Non-Photorealistic Rendering) in the early 2000s, I decided to create a procedural shader to render the 3ds Max Utah teapot primitive with an artistic look.
The iconic Utah teapot was used as a test model in the early years of 3D computer graphics development, because of useful characteristics, such as a branching spout and a separate lid.
