Pro-tip if you’re a new user on Damus: Pay for write access to one of the default paid relays, and/or add a few more non-paid relays to your list. By default you only have 2 non-paid relays with write access. The other 2 default relays (indicated by the bitcoin symbol in the screenshots below) are read-only until you pay. With the Damus relay rate-limiting user activity so aggressively (see Derek’s note below), you may run into issues posting notes from time to time if you are an active/prolific user and don’t add more relays. 🤙
The Damus relay is rate limiting all kinds to 5 events per minute. That's 5 in total. For example, 1 note, 1 zap, and 3 reactions.
