Cedar Waxwing (Bombycilla cedrorum) photo from a previous winter. This cherry tree in the neighbor's yard died, and it was taken down this year. A lot of birds perched in there, so I miss having it right in front of my window. I hope the roving flock of masked fruit eaters will still perch nearby. They are fun to watch as they eat berries and share with each other. Relying on mostly fruit and berries all winter means they occasionally get drunk on rotting fruit!
