A quickly learned habit when we moved to a non-Eastern time zone in the U.S.: ALWAYS include the time zone in any mentions of time with anyone that is elsewhere in the world. The U.S. is very Eastern Time Zone centric and folks on the East Coast seem to think all mentioned times are always Eastern, even when corresponding with offshores resources in India.
