*Silent Errors kill UX*
#Chromecast stopped working on my wife's macbook. Scott to the recuse but I couldn't figure it out. In desperation I updated Chrome and MAGIC! It started working.
From a #UX point of view, when something fails, it should fail in a useful way to show me what to do next.
In case I'm being naive, is this impossible? Just show the chromecast icon but when I pick it a dialog box comes up saying there appears to be a problem and try these 3 things?
