"content": "It can backup all apps now if you enable the device-to-device transfer mode, although apps can still have inherently install-specific data like Signal which is always going to block any external backup implementation.\n\nSeedvault definitely has a lot of issues and is not at all what we wanted to have as a backup system. It was originally created by a GrapheneOS user for GrapheneOS but then derailed by others into a complete mess deviating from the goals.",
