Haven't played games in a while, but I would highly recommend:
The Last of Us (both parts, incredible gameplay and story)
Days gone (open world zombies done right!)
God of war (the whole series but especially the newer 2 games)
Horizon zero dawn (at least watch the YouTube compilation of the story, the story is fantastic)
Returnal (fantastic sci-fi shooter)
Age of empires 4 (RTS)
