"content": "It stops (hamstrings) teams with wealthy owners injecting capital and unbalancing the competition, yes. That's partly the point. That's why 18 clubs of 20 voted for it, because it's FAIR. The new squad cost rules introduce a further focus on capping what a club can spend on it's squad, linking it to revenue. If you want to spend more, you put in the work to do better in a sustainable way over time, like Brighton and Brentford have done. Spurs, Liverpool, and Arsenal also.",
