Question asked between two high school debate teams. When is it ok to separate students based on any particular feature of the student.

School A: Some students have special needs, some students have cultural needs (such as a student where English isn’t their first language). We only separate based on the needs of the student. Sometimes students can take advanced classes, which is what they need to reach their potential.

School B: This is based on racism. It creates elitism. It happened to me.
