Yesterday Jeremy Corbyn tweeted "Governments should not be indebted to large donors or vested interests. They should be indebted to the people they were elected to serve. That means being tough on fossil fuel giants and the arms industry, not on children and pensioners in poverty!"

Jeremy Corbyn is not a raging anarchist firebrand. He does not want to get rid of all the politicians and blow up parliament. So I'm wondering why this eminently sensible observation is EVEN REMOTELY controversial.
