Our second day of #CrossBorderRail Day 2 takes us to Salzburg, in Austria. We will be moving east, towards Slovenia via Villach, while avoiding the damages caused by the recent floods to the line between Linz and Vienna.
It's paradoxical: air travel has a WAY bigger impact on the #ClimateCrisis than rail travel, but the latter suffers the most from extreme weather events driven by climate change.
