I have heard repeatedly what the "culture of the fediverse" is defined as and, uh.

So far, as near as I can tell, the one defining characteristic of the "culture of the fediverse" is yelling at individuals who violate any perceived social rule (that their server may not share).

Who defines this culture? How broadly is this culture shared? Who does this culture exclude and who does it protect?
