Honestly using krampus is so effective to get kids to behave rather than saying that Santa won't bring them presents when he's supposed to be the embodiment of good.
Plus it scare them a lot more into behaving so that's what I'm personally going to do and I've already done it to two kids and it worked really well.
There traditions for a reason!
