npub1upkp7fd7rc3lrjg23r8gy0wc723vze7mxlx5984ut6zurjzpf5xss4tcwy (npub1upk…tcwy) The way I see this problem being addressed (and I don't think flakes addresses it specifically) is that the convention is that if you depend on a version of nixpkgs (an input to your flake) it is assumed that all packages will be roughly in lockstep with each other and depend on the same libraries.
Breaking out of this and pinning one dependency back or forward to a specific version is possible but it gets somewhat unwieldy which is a soft way of discouraging it.
