I’m not sure why, but in the past few weeks I’ve had 2 other developers ask to borrow my Mac charger (we’re all on 16” MBPs with M1), so I’ve offered them a USB C charger because I just carry the one cable for everything. Both of them have replied “oh that won’t work on my machine, mine is a different charger”.
Both times I’ve said “just plug it in”.
Both times they’ve been shocked.
And both of them until very recently had Macs that only charged via USB C.
