PSA for all you tiny internet #queers and #trans ppl who live in my phone.
This week is gonna be hard on our mental health so I reccomend everyone go grab some warhead candies. If u start to spiral or even start to have a panic attack pop one of these babies in ur mouth and try to focus on the physical sensations.
The extreme sour will pull all your attention inward and can (and has for me before) stop an anxiety/panic attack in its tracks.
Name the sensations aloud. Say if they change, name the flavor of the candy.
Most importantly practice self care and be disciplined about ur media and social media intake.
There isnt much to do this close to the 5th, so lets put up the shield wall and take care of ourselves and each other.
Check in on your chosen family, visit in person or in video chat. Movie nights and cuddle piles can help keep us grounded and focused on the good in our lives.
