My wife's family likes to make this pie for the holidays, which their Grandmother made.
It never comes out quite right. There's always a little something off.
The wife and I did some research on similar pies, and found the recipe was lacking an ingredient crucial for the chemical reaction to occur.
So we fixed the recipe and now we are the only ones who can make it come out good.
Grandma's old recipe was just some shit she came up with one day in the 60s when she was missing ingredients.
