I sometimes call it tweet because I'm not sure what we are supposed to call it but still hanging onto the word "twitter" and "tweet" on purpose is lame.
I find a lot of people who still call it twitter are just angry deep down inside because the person who bought it doesn't align with their values. So it's their way to trying to express their anger.
