Yesterday, Tiny Person was allowed to use a computer at school to type, as her teacher can only read her writing when she does homework at home (dyspraxia. It's not for lack of trying 🙃 lots of drawing and writing happens at home). She loved it! She's been doing a bit at home, as she's only allowed to play Roblox on my computer, and not on a device.
Anyway I read something this morning about how GenZ and Gen Alpha don't read, can't type, etc, and now I'm just laughing because apparently my kid is going to be accidentally computer literate compared to kiddos peers, purely out of one teacher's exasperation.
Add to that the reason she can read so well, is because I have subtitles on the TV all the time.
Being a little bit shit is paying off! 😆
*I do also read with her, and dad plays Roblox with her sometimes, we're not entirely shit.
