Oil on canvas board. \n\n\"Old man in military costume\", Rembrandt\n\ni've been going to a monday group painting class for a couple of weeks now. this week, i made a more detailed pass on the face, repainted over the miscoloured feather. worked on the metal collar a bit. I'll work on the details of the feather this week at home. \n\nthis painting is challenging.\n\nas a #colourblind artist... what I see, what colours I mix and what my teacher sees are totally different. in the original, the background is warmer than the greenish one I painted in, so I am told. i see it as warmish grey brown.\n🤣\n\nI'll have something to show on my Patroclus by Jacques-Louis David on Thursday. \n\n#art #artstr #oil #oilpaint #mastercopy #WIP",
