Adolph (nprofile…5k85) Yeah 2GB+ of RAM isn't all projects, like on my 8-cores laptop I ended up passing -j3 to webkit-gtk, nodejs, llvm/clang/…, gcc.
Not all but fact that it's big projects also means longer compile times.
And Rust effectively has roughly the same problems as C++ *and* adds npm-style dependency management on top, which to me ironically makes it rather scary for security-critical software as it's much harder to patch out vulnerabilities.
