10/7 as Israel’s 9/11 is a perfect metaphor because in both cases the attacks are used as excuse to bomb the hell out of thousands of people who had nothing to do with the attacks, and the majority of Israelis and Americans have no ability to look honestly at why the attacks might’ve happened.
