Why writing a novel takes so long:
Today, if my cat lets go of my arm, I’m writing what I call a Bridge Section. I have a draft I love. (I’ve rewritten it so many times, I’ve lost count of which number draft it is. 😂) I just added in a scene to set up something in a later book. Now I write the Bridge Section, connecting the new scene to the next chapter. Then, everything after this point will need to be tweaked to fit the actions & emotional blowout.
