I had a tumor removed from below my ribcage this morning. I was at the hospital and I was a bit scared tbh. The anaesthetist kindly allowed me to keep my phone and my bone conduction headphones. And so with a shot of propofol I was wheeled into the operating room listening to Semisonic's "Secret Smile" on repeat. It all went well, the tumor was benign it seems and I'm back at home now, still a bit woozy.
