Being Tomoe River paper it will handle fountain pen ink like a champ. Tomoe River is very light and thin paper, that keeps ink on its surface, thus showing incredible sheen and shimmer if you have inks with such properties. It can extend an inks drying time though.
Disclaimer: I have never tried Tomoe River myself, I use clairefontaine because it is very affordable from PenChalet.com.
