Leaving aside the major issues with the plot, they actually turned this one into a series followup. It was interesting! Never really got a lot of buzz, but it wasn't a bad watch (probably not worth tracking down for any particular reason, was give or take slightly noncannon to the movie as well), about what happened after the events to the 'minor' characters.
Still nowhere near as weird as Legion (2010)-> Dominion (2014-2015), though.
