1: litterbox is too out of the way so the cat can't find it/prefers the couch.
Solution is to put the litterbox closer to the sofa and slowly move it away
2: litterbox has bad design
Some cats will not bother with those weird auto cleaning machines
3: there are multiple cats
Solution is to have multiple boxes.
4:bad litter
Some stuff is too annoying for the cat to use. Sometines soft fine litter is the solution.
4: health issue
Either mental or physical. Requires a vet visit to rule out.
