There is a difference between being narcissistic and suffering from Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
I don't think Trump understands that people know he's full of it, or he thinks he's justified in insisting he's right at all times.
GH Bush threw up at a state dinner, and later said he was embarrassed. Trump would insist he didn't or that he meant to do that.
