I'm with Hardy Har Har, oh my, oh dear, it's just going to be another Michael Moore movie, starts well and goes nowhere. See, they didn't even make a Star Trek feature starring Michael Dorn, and the sensible people of the planet will indeed kill all the bad peole before we get nuclear schmulear. But this is required to get into Volume III of Star Trek. And the show must go on.
I'm 68, and 50/50 as to whether this life will be anything like a success. I AM waiting for WARP DRIVE (they're working on it) and Fusion Reactors.
I am also waiting for the death of Capitalism, but I'm afraid things that massive take longer timeframes to dissolve than I have left. But a lot of heads on sticks would be nice to see.
I want to see the irreversible attack on the NOTION of wealth, that what anyone can have must exist within Very Narrow Bounds.
I wonder if anyone of now can persist long enough to see "how it all turns out." Will humankind escape a new Dark Ages? Will an AI force us to evolve? {laughs}
