My daughter literally gets put in classes with lots of problem kids because she can behave in class. She’s starting to struggle with math because they’re so distracting. Our education system literally uses well behaving, high achieving kids as rewards to teachers dealing with problem kids and parents. :( And I’m not picking on kids with problems, I just think it’s ridiculous that administration is using kids as rewards this way (literally I know an administrator for our district and that’s how she describes it).
